10:00 AM Into the Glacier Experience, suit up and go up to the glacier.
13:00 Pm coming back from the glacier - Lunch at Húsfell on your own and then we head to the North part of Iceland. After that a stop at Barnafossar, Hraunfossar and Deildartunguhver.
18:00 - 20:00 PM arriving at Bakkaflöt our partners for a cozy cabin overnight stay.

Few facts:
Hraunfossar is our destination. There you will see waterfall that is unique in the world, no other waterfall is like this one.
The water flows through the lava and comes out in layers like a cream of many layered ice.
Next to Hraunfossar is Barnafoss another waterfall  that is just as beautiful. From there we drive to one of the worlds largest hot-spring, there are 200 liters of 100 °c hot water that flow out every second, and a lot of steam.
Langjökull, a glacier that we will „go into“.
At around 1.300 meter height there's an entrance into the glacier, a tunnel that has been constructed with lights, platforms and walkways to enjoy this unique world of ice.

This is an experience that you will never forget.

Day 2

From Bakkaflöt we drive to Lake Mývatn one of the most scenic places in Iceland, landscape filled with craters and lava formations and amazing bird population.
Breathtaking panoramic views make Lake Mývatn one of the most beatiful places in the world.

First stop is waterfall Goðafoss, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland.
From Goðafoss we head to Dimmuborgir, a large area composed of various volcanic caves and rock formations, powerful place you won´t forget.

Then we go and relax and eat lunch at Jarðböðin. A unique lagoon in the north, just as nice and intresting as the Blue Lagoon just not as crowded.

After that relaxing stop it is Námaskarð, a world of mudpots, sulfaters and steamvents. Colorful soil and smelly, but so intresting and different.

On we go and next is the explotion crater Víti, very unique landscape and very young.

Then we start to head back but stop at 2 more places Grjótagjá, an old bathing ravine of the local people but to hot to bath in now because of volvanic activity underneath. (in the wintertime the weather can affect this stop)
And then to Gígar, a pseudocraters of extraordinary formations and view.

After our day tour around the area we will explore the town of Akureyri, Iceland most's beautiful town, before heading back to Bakkaflöt, on our way from Akureyri, we are looking for the Northern lights which, with this drive we have one of the best chances to see the lights. Of course weather depending.

Day 3

After 2 really long days, it is time to slow things down a bit.
after breakfast at Bakkaflöt - We start our drive back "home" to Reykjavik.
On our way we drive to the small fishing village Hvammstangi to visit a natural history & seal museum.
After visiting the museum we drive around the peninsula in an attempt to observe seals.
After that, Grábrók is on our agenda, hike up to Grábrók a volcano crater that stands 1 of 3 craters in that area.  -But if your Icelandic isn't good, then a direct translation of this Crater is "Gray- Underwear"

From there we head to Borgarnes which is 45 minutes outside of Reykjavik, that will be our last stop for coffee and enjoying the company of the people together.

Our arrival time in Reykjavik will be around 16:00 - 18:30 and we drop you off at your hotel or guesthouse.
